\nMusicienne \/ multi-instrumentiste \/ compositrice \/ interpr\u00e8te<\/strong><\/p>\n

Musicienne, form\u00e9e au violon classique, multi-instrumentiste, elle a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la musique populaire traditionnelle turque au conservatoire de musique d\u2019Istanbul au d\u00e9but de son parcours. La rencontre avec Jean-Jacques Lem\u00eatre, compositeur et musicien du Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Soleil, a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9terminante. Sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la musique de sc\u00e8ne, mais aussi com\u00e9dienne form\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole internationale de th\u00e9\u00e2tre Jacques Lecoq, elle consacre l\u2019essentiel de son activit\u00e9 \u00e0 la musique vivante dans le domaine du spectacle vivant. L\u2019art du corps musical lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 transmis par Monika Pagneux. Elle a cr\u00e9\u00e9 et interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 la musique d\u2019une quarantaine de spectacles pour le th\u00e9\u00e2tre d\u2019auteurs classiques et contemporains. En qu\u00eate de sonorit\u00e9 rare, elle s\u2019appuie sur une importante collection personnelle d\u2019instruments de musique, appartenant \u00e0 de nombreuses civilisations, glan\u00e9s au cours de ses voyages et rencontres, mais aussi sur des instruments fabriqu\u00e9s, invent\u00e9s, qui offrent un large \u00e9ventail de timbres, source in\u00e9puisable d\u2019inspirations. Ses recherches l\u2019ont conduite \u00e0 collaborer \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de nouveaux instruments. Sa musique na\u00eet en pr\u00e9sence de l\u2019acteur, se dessine et devient partition. Elle pr\u00e9sage, annonce, cr\u00e9e des contrepoints, et imprime une pulsation au personnage qui s\u2019incarne sous ses yeux.<\/p>\n

Christine Kotschi
\nmusician \/ multi-instrumentalist \/ composer \/ performer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trained in the classical violin, Christine Kotschi is a musician who also plays multiple instruments. Early on in her career she studied traditional popular Turkish music at the Istanbul Conservatory. Later, an encounter with Jean-Jacques Lem\u00eatre, a composer and musician with the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Soleil in France, proved to be a turning point for her. Specialized in stage music, she also trained as an actress at the Jacques Lecoq International Theatre School, and most of her time is devoted to staging live music in the performing arts arena. In addition, she studied the art of the musical body with Monika Pagneux. She has created and performed music for around forty plays by both classical and contemporary authors. In search of rare sounds, she uses her substantial collection of musical instruments, which includes instruments from all civilizations, picked up on her travels and encounters, as well as hand-crafted, invented instruments that provide a wide range of timbres and serve as an endless source of inspiration. In addition, her research has led her to collaborate on the creation of new instruments. It is in the presence of actors that her music comes to life, taking shape and becoming a musical score. It is like a prediction of things to come, creating counterpoints and imprinting a rhythm onto the character that takes shape before her eyes.<\/p>\n
